Lutetia is a small, independently owned coffee shop in the heart of TienMu serving
probably the best coffee in Taipei, along with a range of breads and pastries baked on site
daily at the Lutetia Bakery.
Coming from a long line of coffee shop owners, Cedric brings a piece of Paris to Taipei and
has been offering a warm, personal touch to his regulars and passing clientele for more
than ten years.
Opened in 2017 Lutetia’s sister café at the Taipei Traditional Arts Centre is ideally situated
to host parties and functions providing finger foods, snacks and baked goods from the
bakery. Theme nights can be organised with advance notice be they promotional, a
celebration, or just an excuse for a social. There is space for a band, a large outdoor area
and there is plenty of room for local artists to exhibit their talents. The lively, friendly
atmosphere of Lutetia cafés are a true taste of the esprit of France in Taipei.
Besides the extensive range of coffees and teas to suit all tastes, Lutetia offers a range of
locally made craft beers, some choice imported beers, a selection of wines by the glass or
bottle, as well as the favourite spirits and cocktails for any occasion. Regular eats include
homemade quiches, baguettes, speciality breads, Panini and crepes, alongside an
extensive range of cakes and pastries, salads and seasonal light meals.
The Lutetia Bakery bakes goods for its own store, the two cafés and supplies Carrefour
Markets and Carrefour stores around Taipei. Parties and events are catered for upon
request, as well as bespoke cakes and other baked goods. Franchise opportunities are
available for both the bakery and the café.
2018 saw the opening of the Lutetia Patisserie and Chocolaterie in the TianMu Jason’s
Market Place which has seriously raised the bar of the speciality cakes and pastries
available in the area. All the goods are baked daily on-site using only the best natural
ingredients. A selection is offered in Lutetia’s other establishments. then pop in and
